Quoom, native of Bronx, grew up amongst ten brothers. A professional drummer since 13 years of age, he co-found the United Drummers of Yisrael, the Mishpaka Drummers, and the All Star Drummers.
Through the KIPP STAR College Prep Charter School, Quoom is realizing his dream of bringing up the next generation of drummers. The 5th to 8th graders reminded him much of his own four sons – the endless curiosity, sense of wonder, and fearless pursuit of their passion.
