The 1930's ukelele was a gift from Meghan's father, a lifelong antique dealer. Sharing her father's love for all things old, she was instantly drawn to the instrument – its history, its past lives, and most of all – its symbolism. The delicate cream-rose decal inscribed on the back of the instrument, meaning peace and harmony, sparked Amity Rose music for a new depression area.
